• Covering 37 critical illnesses including 7 Association of British Insurers (ABI) definitions.
• Free children’s critical illness insurance – if each parent is covered on their own separate policy, they can both claim for one child.
• Mastectomy cover – should you need to undergo a total mastectomy, Friends Provident will pay up to 20% of the sum assured, or £15,000, whichever is lower.  This claim will not affect their original sum.
