Jupiter ISAs

jupiter isasJupiter ISAs

ISAs were introduced by the Government in 1999, and are a tax efficient way to save and invest money, which means you get to keep all capital gains arising from them and have no further liability to any income tax payable on any interest or dividends.

There are two types of ISA – Stocks and Shares and Cash. You can invest up to £3,600 in cash with the balance up to £7,200 in stocks and shares. There are a range of Jupiter ISAs, both Cash and Stocks and Shares, that allow you to:

  • Invest up to £7,200 per tax year
  • protect your savings and investments from capital gains tax
  • make tax free withdrawals whenever you like

Jupiter ISAs offer both the stocks and shares and cash components through Cash and Stocks and Shares ISAs and have a minimum investment of £1,000 paid as a lump sum and then £50 per month.

Please bear in mind that:
Investment ISAs are designed as medium to long term investments, for example at least five years.
The value of your investment and the level of any income received from it can fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed and you may not get back the amount of your original investment.
The tax efficiency of ISAs is based on current tax law and there is no guarantee that tax rules will stay the same in the future.
If you choose an index-tracking trust which invests overseas, exchange rate variations may cause the value of your investment to increase or decrease.
If you unsure what Investment ISA plan is right for you speak to an independent investment adviser.
