Post office travel insurance was voted the winner of ‘Best Travel Insurance Provider’ in each year from 2006 to 2014 by the British Travel Awards. However before you decide on a policy you should shop around policies from different providers to try and find the policy that suits you best. When looking into travel insurance it’s important that you make sure that your policy will cover you for the things you will be doing when you’re travelling, even if you need to purchase optional extras. For example if you are going skiing it is wise to ensure your policy will provide cover for winter sports. You will find that different insurers may have different eligibility criteria’s for who and what they are willing to provide travel insurance for.
