Once all the legal paperwork concerned with conveyancing has been completed the solicitor or licensed conveyancer will charge a fee; conveyancing costs vary, depending on the value of the property involved, the complexity of the sale and the solicitors. It is worth while taking time to look around at the costs of hiring a solicitor, keeping in mind that a cheaper solicitor might not always be the best option, as you want an experienced solicitor to handle the work. As well as paying the solicitor you will have to pay for things like:

• Land registry fees
• Stamp duties
• Legal disbursement fees
