The AA has come top of Which? magazine’s annual survey of breakdown cover providers for the third year running.

According to the annual survey which was published this month, the AA breakdown cover received a customer score of 86 per cent, which combines customer satisfaction with the likelihood of recommending the service to a friend.

The survey received around 13,400 responses from drivers who had broken down in the last 12 months, with the AA receiving a five star rating for their knowledge and courtesy to their customers.

Which? also awarded the AA the group’s ‘Best Buy’ recommendation and said: “The AA is consistently one of the best for response and repairs – and its basic roadside rescue cover needn’t be costly.”

Commenting on the survey, Steve Dewey, AA Patrol service director, said: “Providing the best service to members is the AA’s number one priority, and it is great to see this recognised by our members through the Which? survey.

“Holding on to top position for three years running reflects our ongoing investment in our service and commitment to being a genuine industry leader. Members can rest assured that this commitment will continue for the road ahead,” he added.
